About Us

Since 1892, Fair Acres Stock Farms, Inc. has owned and operated cattle and crop farms in Southern Minnesota. Through the foresight, direction and hard work of four generations of Ewalds the farm has grown to its present size and status. For more information please contact us.

Fair Acres Stock Farm became known as such in 1912, when Charles Ewald started with purebred Shorthorn cattle. It at one time included purebred Belgian horses and a spotted Poland China hog enterprise. The ownership of this land, by the Ewald Family began in 1892. Fair is used in the name to mean pleasing to the eye. Through the years this has been a basic thought and has served as a standard for each generation. This story was begun in 1983 by Lyle Charles Ewald, third generation of the family to live on this location.
